The Argentinean province of Jujuy has issued a $210 million green bond which will co-finance a 300 MW solar project selected in the first round of the country’s program for large-scale renewables RenovAr.
Swedish renewable energy company Eneo Solutions AB was awarded a PPA for a 745 kW rootop PV project by the municipality of Järfälla through a tender process.
The bill, which will now have to be approved by the Senate, is intended to introduce a net metering scheme for residential and commercial PV.
The new measure was announced by Madagascar’s President, Hery Rajaonarimampianina on the occasion of the inauguration of a commercial PV system installed at a shopping mall in Ankorondrano.
The pilot floating PV system is being installed at De Slufter, the depot for contaminated dredging spoil on the western edge of Rotterdam’s port area.
The two production facilities will be located in the northern province of Mendoza and will provide the modules for PV projects developed under the Renovar program.
The two projects have a capacity of 30 MW each and are located in the state of Piauí, in Brazil’s Northeast Region.
The Zavodskaya SPS solar project was built with 56,626 modules manufactured by Solar Systems at its production plant in Yelabuga municipal district of the Republic of Tatarstan.
The new law is expected to improve the current regulation and to ensure the legal certainty of future investments in solar distributed generation.
The country’s cumulative installed PV capacity has now surpassed 1.5 GW, while another 500 MW is expected to be installed by the end of 2017.
