Managing Editor Erica Johnson met with Guy Rong, President of International Business, and Bruce Wang, Director of the Research Institute at Arctech Solar. Arctech was ranked number for globally for tracking shipments in 2018, not long after entering the global market four years ago. The company started in India, and expanded into other markets.

The company offers both a portfolio of both tracker products and fixed mounting structure business. Arctech was one of the first tracker companies to showcase the compatibility of bifacial modules with solar trackers and has invested significantly in the technology. The company has customized its product to provide optimal output for bifacial modules with two separate products. The combination of bifacial modules and trackers is said to increase yields significantly. Arctech Solar’s fixed structure products  amounted to 70 percent of its business volume in 2018, according to Rong.

Arctech executives emphasize the service of the company as to a key element of its success. The company provides holistic approach, land checking, design and layout, and foundation design. Wang talks to pv magazine about the company’s new product launch surrounding Intersolar Europe. “This new system is more reliable,” says Wang. The company says it is expanding its innovation through AI.
