Italy-based asset management and banking company Tages Group announced it acquired 35 PV power plants in Italy from local industrial group Maccaferri, the parent company of Italian EPC contractor Enerray.
The financial terms of the deal were not disclosed. The company said the solar plants are located in the regions of Apulia and Sicily, in the south of the country, and in the northern region of Emilia-Romagna.
Including these new projects, the company’s PV plant portfolio has now reached a combined capacity of 208 MW. So far, the fund has raised approximately €210 million.
Through its fourth and final round, finalized in June, the fund raised approximately €40 million. In the third round, concluded in May, it raised funds amounting to €55 million,
Around 157 MW of the portfolio was acquired by Tages Helios in August 2016, when it acquired through two different operations the Italian solar park portfolio of 9Ren (56 MW) and SunReserve (101 MW). Its unit Delos Power, a joint venture with Renam Srl, has recently implemented a plan for the revamping of all these PV plants.
