The 200 MW Solar park at Pavagada, located in Tumakuru District in Karnataka is once again for the grasps. KREDL, Karnataka’s renewable energy implementing agency has issued a tender for the park to be developed. The deadline for the same is January 3, 2018.
The tender was first issued in July 2017; it was an EPC tender but later withdrawn in August 2017. Now once again the bids are open, and the scope of work includes, design, engineering, procurement, supply, construction, erection, testing, and commissioning. The capacity of the park is divided into four blocks of 50 MW each.
KREDL will enter into a power purchase agreements with DISCOMs in Karnataka for 25 year period for the sale of power generated from this park.
The successful bidder will have to develop associated transmission for connection to the grid and have to provide O&M for a 10 year period. A single bidder can bid for entire capacity.
