The opening day of the SNEC exhibition proved wrong the doubters who had questioned whether China could maintain the pace of growth seen over the past couple of years as massive crowds descended on the show.
Wizened industry veterans spoke of their surprise, and delight, at the sheer volume of visitors across SNEC's vast exhibition grounds. Equally, the mood was buoyant, with very little negativity and wave upon wave of optimist belief that China could match or even surpass last year's record installation numbers in 2017.
The pv magazine team did its best to keep up with the fast pace of day one's action, and has put together another issue of the SNEC Daily newspaper for your enjoyment, available for download right here.
