Time is working for storage, Piepenbrink claims, as prices are getting cheaper and cheaper. Currently, the most interesting markets are the United States, although as a back-up market, Australia for residential applications, Italy and the UK in Europe.
Piepenbrink also stressed that every market has its own kind of consumers. In Germany, Austria of Switerland, for example, there are a lot of people interested in new technologies that are planning to become prosumers, while installing a storage system in Australia can be tricky.
