38 bids with a total capacity of 200 MW were proposed by the Federal Network Agency in the tender, in accordance with provisions of EEG 2017. The agency said on Wednesday that had received an average successful bid price of €0.0658/kWh, below the last round of pilot tenders, which averaged €0.069. The lowest successful bid was €0.0600/kWh, the highest €0.0675.
Nine tenders were granted to projects to be built on rehabilitated landfill sites. These projects, as well as rooftop installations from 750 kW were required to participate in the tenders for the first time. The call for tenders received 97 bids altogether, for a total of 488 MW. “Competition is still pleasingly high,” said Federal Network Agency President Jochen Homann.
Nine bids were excluded as they did not fulfill the prerequisites for participation. Successful bidders now have until 27th February to pay the second deposit for their projects.
