Sponsored by Underwriters Laboratories
If there is one safety qualification that all PV module makers are familiar with, it is the essential IEC 61730. And while this standard forms the basis of safety certification, it has changed significantly over time.
On Thursday, Underwriters Laboratories (UL) will offer a free webinar on the most recent changes to IEC 61730, including why the updates were needed, what they cover. It will also answer provide insights into terms such as insulation coordination, pollution degree and material groups, as well as the definition of classes.
Additionally, the webinar will look at what applications are covered by IEC 61730.
UL’s complimentary webinar will take place this Thursday, January 19 at 11 AM Central Time (U.S.). Register here.
