With a comprehensive solar module and inverter database to draw on and weather data compiled from 8,000 weather stations worldwide – as well as the ability to calculate weather data for custom locations – the DDS-CAD PV 9 package can help system planners design, visualize and calculate the yields available from any type and size of system worldwide. Available in English, German, Norwegian and Polish, the DDS-CAD PV 9 package includes a fully integrated Polysun Inside plug-in to calculate yields and a fully automated inverter mapper. With the appropriate licences, the DDS-CAD PV 9 can also overlay electrical, plumbing and ventilation systems over PV projects, helping multi-disciplinary installers. The package, which comes to market at the end of June, also has a multi-user capability so several people can work on system planning simultaneously.
