Expansion of the Coolcept family

The lower input voltage of the new inverters ensures more system planning flexibility. Using commonly available modules, it is now possible to use 7 to 20 modules per inverter, says Steca. This makes the new StecaGrid devices especially suitable for small systems for optimizing own consumption. The inverters are available as of January 2013. The Coolcept technology enables the efficiency of the Coolcept inverters. They are based on a switching concept developed and patented by Steca. The high efficiency guarantees that almost no energy is lost. This means that expensive cooling systems are not required inside the grid inverter. The low heat dissipation results in constantly low temperatures, even at full load, which has a positive effect on the ageing process of the components and reduces their failure rate. This greatly extends the service life of the inverters.
