A memorandum of understanding is said to have been signed between Ekotechnik Ukraine and the Ukraine's Khmelnytskyi Oblast State Administration.
The photovoltaic plants will be installed in the Khmelnytskyi oblast region in a total of 14 districts, including in Dunavets, Khmelnytsk, Vinkovets, Yarmolynets, Novoushytsk, Kamianets-Podolskyi. Around 400 hectares of land is expected to be leased from the Ukrainian authorities for the systems.
Ekotechnik Czech completed a 5 MW plant in the Ukraine last year, in Yasenovka, Khmelnitskyi. In a statement released, the company said that it has a photovoltaic pipeline in thr Ukraine totaling more than 220 MW.
No further details were released.
