The T-Solar Group is increasingly looking to the Indian solar market. It’s second photovoltaic project, located in Nayaka, is expected to produce 19.4 GWh of electricity annually. It is comprised of 96,885 modules installed across 36.4 hectares.

The company’s first plant in Osiyan, Rajasthan, totaled 5 MW and was completed in October 2011. Overall, €34 million is said to have been invested in both projects, which are expected to generate enough energy for 49,000 people.

"India's energy requirements together with its growth make it an outstanding setting for photovoltaic investment, as the scalability, rapid installation and simplicity of this technology make it highly beneficial to the country," said the company in a statement released.

Overall, T-Solar has 284.5 MWp of photovoltaic projects under operation and development in Spain, Italy, India, Peru, United States and Puerto Rico.
