Phase one of the 200 MW development in Alar City is the largest solar park in the Akesu region of Xinjiang province and the remaining 170 MW is due to come online this year.
Financing for three Czech projects totaling 5.57 MW has been secured from the PPF Bank, part of the PPF Group. It will provide 14.6 million (US$19.8 million) of the 18.9 million total cost of the schemes through a 15-year loan at 5% annual interest.
Sky Solar will develop, operate and own the three Czech operations.
