Sky Solar breaks ground on 50 MW PV project

Gonghe County Tianhua New Energy Power Co., Ltd, a subsidiary of Sky Solar, developed the 591 million Yuan (around US$94.5 million; €72.4 million) project, which is located in Gonghe County Photovoltaic Industrial Park.

"With an abundance of natural solar energy resources, Qinghai province has attracted many domestic energy companies … Coupled with China’s current feed-in-tariff levels, Qinghai’s PV industry is entering the fast lane, enabling grid connection and transmission of the worlds’ largest centralized PV power station," said Sky Solar in a statement released.
