Located on a former military airfield at Westcott Venture Park, Buckinghamshire, the Berlin-based company was hired by Rockspring Property Investment Managers to install the system, which comprises over 6,000 of its 275 watt peak modules.
The project was completed in two phases. The first involved the construction of a 415 kilowatt (kW) array, while the second saw an additional 1,185 kW added. The entire system was grid connected in time for it to receive the original feed-in tariff.
Solon will operate and maintain the park for at least five years.
