Representing the German solar companys fifth project contract from E.ON, the system will be installed in Marino, close to Rome, Italy.
Phoenix Solar says it will be responsible for the planning and building of the power plant, which will comprise crystalline photovoltaic modules from Trina Solar. Construction is scheduled to start mid-June, and is expected to be completed by August.
Overall, the company has installed a total of 13 MW of photovoltaics for EON in both Italy and France.
In other news, Phoenix Solar says it has developed a new photovoltaic installation system for flat roofs. Phoenix TectoFlat will be presented at this year's Intersolar, which will take place from 8 to 10 June in Munich, Germany.
