China Sunergy and GCL-Poly sign 4,400 MW wafer agreement

Under the terms, GCL-Poly will supply China Sunergy with around 4,400 MW of wafers over six years. The first delivery is expected to take place this February, while the last is scheduled for December 2016. The agreement also contains a clause for a price adjustment mechanism.

Stephen Zhifang Cai, CEO of China Sunergy commented: "This agreement will strengthen our supply chain and solidify our competitive cost position in the dynamic solar industry. We expect that the partnership will positively contribute to CSUN's rapid growth in the global solar industry."
