Gehrlicher sells 1.9 MWp solar rooftop system

The system, which was sold in December, is located on the rooftop of Audi AG’s car parks in Neckarsulm, Germany. It covers an area of around 27,000 square meters, is comprised of 10,700 Sunowe modules and was connected to the grid last September.

Steffen Licht, Head of the Rooftop Business Unit at Gehrlicher Solar AG comments: "These type of projects show the large, yet unexplored, potential rooftop systems offer in Germany. In the meantime, we can also reach the megawatt range regularly. The cooperation both with Audi AG and PT Erneuerbare Energien GmbH was very satisfying."
