According to the company, the static properties were developed in such a way that the XXL system can withstand wind loads up to 2,400 pascals per square meter and snow loads up to 5,400 pascals per square meter. The share of the frame remains very small to generate good yields, the manufacturer says.
The Solrif XXL installation system can be combined with all current frameless photovoltaic modules and should be available in Europe in mid-2011.
