The new conveyor can handle large quantities of wafers simultaneously. Conventional handling and transport solutions require an unproductive return track. Montechs vacuum conveyor has no return, thus helping increase productivity in wafer production.
Further news for carrier transport includes the application of a transfer system. With this system, according to the assembly sequence, the carriers are conveyed automatically from one belt to another all along the necessary working stations. The carriers are mounted on standard work piece holders made of high-strength plastic.
For smooth transport of thin film modules and panels between different processing stations, Montech offers a conveyor with two, three or four lanes with toothed belt or flat belt. The conveyor is available with three different drives with spur gear motor and accurately defined acceleration and braking curves.
