The base consists of rubber sealing profiles and retaining profile tracks and protects the modules against water and pressure. Contractors receive a pre-assembled installation system that can be used to mount the modules quickly and without tools, the company says. After the profile tracks are fixed, the modules can be laid into the fixtures in a few seconds and can also be individually taken out of the roof again.
The system will be available in Germany in September 2010 and in other countries, like the Czech Republic, France, Greece, Great Britain, Italy, and Spain, at a later date. Gehrlicher is also presenting a transport and installation system for large modules and the Gehrtec Front façade system at the trade show.
