The Manz precision control system or M-IPCS will allow customers to improve efficiency, performance of thin film solar modules as well as increase the productivity during manufacturing of those modules according to the developers.

M-IPCS is a tool to reduce the dead area of the thin film solar modules. The system allows for improvements in the manufacturing process by offering the small dead area of 200 micrometers to 400 micrometers.

This technology, which is actively tracking each corresponding P1 scribes on a thin film panel, will be available for mechanical scribing of CIGS coating systems.

The system will be available from October onwards.
