Chinese solar module manufacturer Yingli has announced it will be supplying the panels for Malaysia’s largest single-site solar project to date.

Project developer Amcorp Power will use 41,076 of Yingli’s YGE 60 Cell Series modules for the 10 MW solar project at Gemas in Negri Sembilan.

Yingli won the contract to supply the modules – which are expected to generate 13.6 million kWh per year across the 34-acre site – through its Singapore subsidiary.
