CIC Group has said it will plan and build photovoltaic projects for LDK Solar in Croatia, Poland and the U.S. The two have also entered into a distribution agreement.
A spokesperson for CIC declined to provide pv magazine with any further information, and would only say that the details of the cooperation will be discussed this coming January.
In a statement released, Jens Schulz, director of CIC commented, "With this strong partner we have significantly reinforced our position in the growth markets of Eastern Europe and North America." Tina Li sales director of LDK Solar added, "In order to develop new markets and build our standing there, it is exactly this type of flexible and specialised companies that we need on our side."
